textproc/grep - The NetBSD Packages Collection

GNU grep

This package is GNU GREP.

Grep searches the named input files (or standard input if no files are
named, or the file name - is given) for lines containing a match to
the given pattern. By default, grep prints the matching lines.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
